Menuboard Manager MDC for iOS · Last updated 2026-07-28
Menuboard Manager MDC does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, from you or anyone else. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Everything the app does happens either on your device or directly between your device and the displays you choose to add, over your own local network.
The app discovers and controls commercial displays (menuboards, drive-thru screens, and similar) using Samsung's MDC protocol over your local Wi-Fi network. This requires iOS's Local Network permission, which the app requests explicitly and only uses to talk directly to displays you add — nothing is sent anywhere else.
The list of displays you've added, any settings profiles you save, and a local audit history of changes you've made are stored in a database inside the app's own sandboxed storage on your device. None of it leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself (for example, using the CSV export / share sheet for the audit history) — that export is entirely under your control and goes wherever you choose to send it.
There is no sign-in, no account, and no server component of any kind. The app works entirely offline except for its direct, local-network connections to displays you add.
The app is a professional tool for technicians and installers and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds a feature that does handle data differently — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
